About Us

Who we are:

Our mission is to lead people into a saving knowledge and experience the supernatural power of Jesus our Saviour.

Founded in 1992 for the glory of God, Salvation Centre operates from two venues; Newlands West and Phoenix - Durban.

Voice of A Million is our international outreach ministry to the body of Christ, proclaiming the supernatural era of the gospel.

Our ministry is headed by Pastor David Daniels and his staff.

The compassionate side of our ministry is led by a caring group of volunteers, fulfilling the words of Jesus in (Mat 25:35 -36)  for I was hungry, and ye gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;  naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

  What we believe:

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe.

He has eternally existed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are coequal and are one God. Yes we believe in the Holy Trinity.

Jesus is the Son of God.

He is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King.

The Holy Spirit lives in each Christian from salvation.

The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He provides Christians with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily.

The Bible is God's Word to us.

The Bible was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.

People are the supreme object of God's creation proven by their human capacity to achieve great feats, all given by God.

People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin." Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life. Sins can only be rid off through the blood sacrifice of Jesus.

Salvation is God's free gift to us, but we must accept it.

We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

People will exist eternally with or without God.

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.

Baptism is symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

Once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, baptism is a way for us to publicly declare our new life in Christ. It is also a step of obedience based on God’s commands and allows us to follow the example of Jesus, who submitted himself to baptism to "fulfill all righteousness."

We believe in the rapture of the saints and that Jesus will return in the Second Coming  as He promised, according to the Father’s will and time.

In addition to Essential Beliefs, we believe that the gospel has four phases to it. Four Phases of the Gospel -  A move beyond this realm:

1. When John and Jesus preached, they preached repentance and the kingdom of God. Subsequently, the Lord ushered in the first leg of the gospel; that of faith in God’s unmerited grace, thus He fulfilled all the laws and the commandments – Jesus is the end of the law. Anybody coming to Christ must enter through these doors into the kingdom of God. So Christ is the end of the law and we are saved by His grace alone and not by the works of the law. That is what the Lord was tasked with to proclaim together with the early disciples.

2. The second leg was inaugurated as the Spirit was poured out at Pentecost upon the apostles. So they took the first phase – grace and faith and built upon it maturity, stability and established it for Jesus said “…greater works than these shall ye do…” and nonetheless this was part of the greater works. To that first phase, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit they added, for example “…in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge and in your…” and so forth -2 Pet.1:5-8. So all the teachings of the gospels, plus the letters and epistles, makes up the second leg of our glorious gospel, which is the maturing phase of the gospel.

3. The third leg deals with the bride coming of age, preparing to reign and rule with Jesus, the end–time church that ushers Christ back to the earth in response to their prayer “…even so come Lord Jesus…” Rev.22:20. The main characteristic of this super-church arising is the fact that we take the first phase, and the second and move into the heavenlies or spirit-realm to start reigning and ruling with Jesus, for a global deluge of the mighty move of God. To sum up, the third phase of this glorious gospel takes the visible, tangible church into its supernatural functioning, or dimensions, apart from its earthly mandate. The true church operates in all these three phases as the Lord shall allow. What makes it the super-church is the fact that it flows and interacts in the dynamics of the glorious gospel or supernatural gospel, living in the supernatural realm, within the supernatural structure.

Quite simply put the third leg or the supernatural gospel deals with reigning from the supernatural realm or the spirit-realm. The super-church shall receive the supernatural grace and the supernatural glory, and be supernaturally provided for. There is more focus, in this the third phase, on the vertical aspect, namely, our connections to the heavenly places, to accomplish our earthly mandate. Here we shall learn how to ‘harness’ all these supernatural laws to affect a profound ministry from the throne of God. We are not to forget our earthly mandate, for that would be to satan’s advantage, rather we are to be anointed powerfully as we function from the heavenlies to cause a dynamic change here on earth.

4. The forth leg of this gospel is the everlasting gospel, preached by the angels, something that pertains to the future well after the rapture – Rev.14:6.
